Another artist I caught at SXSW which I wouldn’t shut up about for a few weeks was LA boy Nosaj Thing.
Drift is his debut album and while not as banging as his live sets, the album is a supremely accomplished debut brimming with head-nodding beats, sinister sci-fi synths and luscious production.
Nosaj is on some space age shit and I’m totally digging it. For fans of Flying Lotus and the Low End Theory/ Brainfeeder scene. Highly recommended.
