The Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds has been announced for two Dublin shows later this Autumn.
Falling Apart Together is the name of the 19-date tour coming to National Concert Hall on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October 2026 with the subtitle – 19 attempts at dismantling the distance between us.
All tour dates:

The blurb for the tour reads:
Falling Apart Together is an attempt at dismantling the distance between us. A concert hybrid that reveals the layers we construct in order to feel safe, the moments in which those layers tremble and the sense of intimacy and shared humanity that emerges when we allow ourselves to be exposed.
Together with his team of devoted craftsmen and musicians, Ólafur presents a spellbinding blend of past and new material in a show that challenges the boundaries of what a concert can be.
Falling Apart Together explores what becomes possible when we let ourselves unravel just enough to collectively open up.
Tickets are €45 plus fees on general sale Wednesday 21st January at 1pm.
Arnalds released an album last year with Talos, a release to celebrate Talos’ Eoin French posthumously – A Dawning was an album they worked on together before French passed.
He also collaborated with Loreen on a project called SAGES.
We spoke on the Nialler9 Podcast with Arnalds about his relationship with Eoin.
