Otherkin, Meltybrains?, Cathy Davey & more announced for Electric Picnic’s Salty Dog stage

More news from camp Electric Picnic today.

The festival have announced the lineup for the infamous Salty Dog stage.

The nautical-themed stage (it’s an upturned ship), usually plays home to a lot of Irish acts. Running late gigs with a free for all vibe in the crowd.

The stage usually boasts a fairly rock and guitar-based lineup. It’s nice to see that this is still the case in 2019, as EP seems to be focusing largely on contemporary pop acts by its headliners (not that we’re complaining).

Otherkin, Meltybrains? and Cathy Davey are among the headline acts. Kormac and Pillow Queens are also billed to perform, it’s a very strong Irish showing.

Here’s the full lineup.

  • Otherkin
  • Cathy Davey
  • Meltybrains?
  • Kormac
  • Pillow Queens
  • Moxie
  • RSAG
  • Stefan Murphy
  • Nealo
  • Jinx Lennon
  • Cooks But We’re Chefs
  • Khartoum
  • Vulpynes
  • The Roadhouse Doors
  • Waiting For Smith
  • These Charming Men
  • State Lights

  • Autre Monde
  • The Wednesday Gang
  • Ojo
  • Sinead O’Brien
  • The Uproot Hootenanny
  • Carrion

The lineup is coming together very nicely. More details on that here & here.

The festival is totally sold out.
