Paradis – ‘Sur Une Chanson En Français’

And they’re called Paradis for crying out loud.

Coming across like a chillout take on Francois and The Atlas Mountains, Paradis’ ‘Sur Une Chanson En Francais’ is undoubtedly a Gallic track. Slow moving Daft Punk (circa Discovery) synth lines, a dab of funk bass, a veneer of cool and some horns to make that throwback sound complete.

The pair have recently released on Tim Sweeneys Beats In Space label. Tihs is on an EP out on Barclay.

The video for the song by Daniel Brereton “takes us on a tour of Paris, recalling the 1968 protests, a night shared between then and now”.
