Premiere: Beauty Sleep are the perfect pop dreamers on ‘The Dark’

Premiering on the site today is ‘The Dark’ from Belfast natives Beauty Sleep.

The band have been prepping for the release of their debut album Be Kind, due out on May 17th through Quiet Arch records.

The track, which was the band’s first single, has been rerecorded and reimagined on this new version.

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of the band over here. ‘The Dark’ is exactly the reason why.

It’s upbeat, joyous and melodic dream pop music. Full of taut rhythms and colourful synths tones. The track strikes a perfect balance between an obvious 80s influence and modern sound design, giving it an uplifting feeling while retaining a fresh sound.
