Jenn Grant is on an Irish tour at the end of the month that sees her take in gigs in Dublin, Dingle, Galway, Wexford, Cork and Belfast.
The Nova Scotia singer was previously nominated for a Polaris Prize and has a new EP called Clairvoyant coming out on May 9th which features new songs, reworkings of older ones and a Leonard Cohen cover.
On ‘Spades’, her collaboration with a favourite Buck 65, Grant’s vocal is luscious and moving and the gentle song conjures late-night highway drive with this song as the comforting soundtrack with the line “I’ll get to you in spades.” repeated as the song fades.
