Premiere: Watch Jennifer Evans’ rope-tied video for ‘Colours Of Bruises’
Jennifer Evans will release her genuinely long-awaited debut album Works From the Dip and Foul this Friday November 14th on the Delphi Label. We’ve heard ‘Colours Of Bruises’, an idiosyncratic writhing song from the album, and the Dasniya Sommer-helmed video for the song, shot in Berlin, features similar shapes with Jennifer and Emily Aoibheann held and suspended by a rope technique called unshibari.
As Jennifer explains about the video:
“It’s a search for playfulness with another, in an awkwardly demanding and unpredictable space.”
The launch gig will happen next Friday November 21st in Whelan’s.
