Radie Peat, Donal Lunny, Anna-Mieke among Irish artists who have created music for primary schools education programme
DabbledooMusic is an online resource for Irish primary schools who also bring real musicians and artists into the classroom. As that isn’t currently an option, they asked Irish musicians to contribute material to their classroom curriculum.
DabbledooMusic wanted to do something to help Irish musicians in a pandemic time so they put together a selection of music for children from the following Irish artists:
- Donal Lunny
- Radie Peat
- Anna Mieke
- Inni-K
- Paj
- Ed Devane
All artist were paid for their work, and they provided two homemade videos: a video of them performing one of their own songs and a second video performing a kids song that children in school or at home could sing along to.
They are encouraging educators and anyone who wants to support it to pay €15 for the Irish Artists Volume 1 course here. All proceeds will go to the artists.
