Rosalía releases mellow heartbreaker ‘Dolerme’; watch all her recent videos
Catalan’s finest Rosalía released a new song yesterday, a guitar-assisted ballad with a mellow tone called ‘Dolerme’.
It’s the latest in a run of once-off singles since the 2018 release of her second album El Mal Querer that includes tracks like ‘Aute Cuture’, ‘Fucking Money Man’, ‘Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi’, ‘A Palé’ and ‘Juro Que’, which you can watch all the videos of below.
‘Dolerme’ means “hurt me” and is about an on and off again relationship. The translated lyrics are below. All her recent singles are embedded below.
The song has been added to our New Music playlist on Spotify.
Rosalia Dolerme Lyrics
Translated from Spanish.
For all those times I put myself behind
and I changed mine for what you wanted
For all those times I put myself behind
and I changed mine for what you wanted
Those bixis that you’re now with, they don’t know…
Those bixis that you’re now with, they don’t know…
what awaits to them, what awaits to them, what awaits to them
I don’t know why it doesn’t want to hurt me
I accelerate to see if I can crash
I want you to see it and don’t think about stopping me
so you show that you’ve been able to forget me
or why are you not putting from your part too
step on the gas and let go of the wheel
that I don’t have to go look for you one more time
as I know you won’t be able to dare
fast, fast, fast
that is not tomorrow
I crack up the shirt
fast, fast, fast
that is not tomorrow
that is not tomorrow
I don’t know why it doesn’t want to hurt me
I accelerate to see if I can crash
I want you to see it and don’t think about stopping me
so you show that you’ve been able to forget me
or why are you not putting from your part too
step on the gas and let go of the wheel
that I don’t have to go look for you one more time
as I know you won’t be able to dare
I don’t know why it doesn’t want to hurt me
I don’t know why it doesn’t want to hurt me
