SexyTadhg has announced a Vicar Street show for Thursday December 17th, part of their bilingual ‘SLUTTRAD’ tour, tied to the release of new EP TADHG.
Other dates announced include:

Carlow’s Tadhg Griffin has built SexyTadhg into one of the most distinctive live acts in Irish music, a queer, bilingual project that fuses traditional Irish music with big band jazz, theatrical soul and dazzling pop, all built around Griffin’s commanding vocals and piano playing.
The comparisons that follow, Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Freddie Mercury, aren’t far off, but the project’s real distinction is how that grandiosity sits alongside traditional folk and intimate songwriting about gender, sexuality and mental health.

TADHG continues that thread, described as diving deep into the dualities of queer experience, celebrating joy, love and empowerment while confronting struggle and stigma along the way.
It’s been a big run for SexyTadhg. A sold-out debut headline tour took in The Academy in Dublin, Wave Length in Cork and Folklore in London, followed by a support slot on The Mary Wallopers’ 18-date UK tour, including the O2 Brixton Academy and Manchester’s O2 Apollo. Outdoor shows followed at Fairview Park, The Marquee in Cork and The Big Top in Galway, plus a slot supporting BIIRD at Vicar Street, alongside festival appearances at All Together Now, Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale and Other Voices Dingle and Cardigan.
