Intro: SHAWN – Dublin duo explore R&B club atmospherics & mundane suburban living
Sean Reilly sung live with White Collar Boy on the rocks at sunset at Drop Everything on Inis Oirr on the Aran Islands (#smugwithlife) over the weekend, and he’ll also play with White Collar Boy this weekend at Forbidden Fruit.
He’s also in a duo with Cian Tisdall as SHAWN.
The pair’s first track ‘Sojourn’, is a song that mixes club atmospherics with Jamie Woon-style R&B vocals and “explores the themes of regression and stagnation”.
An accompanying video set in Dublin captures this desire to break out of the pattern.
Later this year, SHAWN will debut an audio visual project with photographer Clare Davies.
