Sigur Ros release new single & video ahead of Sunday’s Dublin gig
If you’ve had a hankering to visit or revisit the beautiful country of Iceland, Sigur Ros spent yesterday showing you the sights of the country through their 24-hour Route One journey live video , essentially a 24-hour dashcam.
The time has elapsed and the band, ahead of this Sunday’s date in Dublin with James Vincent McMorrow, have released their first video and new music since 2013’s Kveikur album.
The video for ‘Óveður’ by Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund, was shot in the small town of Grindavík on the Reykjanes peninsular and features Icelandic choreographer Erna Ómarsdóttir, as well as cameos from the band
