“It’s been a really difficult few months for trans and non-binary communities – we’ve seen rollbacks on trans rights in the UK and US, and rising transphobic rhetoric in Ireland, where we have the worst trans healthcare in the EU.
“Trans folks are feeling scared and vulnerable, so it means a lot to us that so many of the Irish music community have our backs.”
Ruadhán Ó Críodáin, Executive Director of ShoutOut.
The t-shirt is available for pre-order until June 3rd, with delivery guaranteed ahead of Pride.
“We hope this t-shirt shows the trans community that there is so much support out there.
“People might just not be sure how to show it in a functional way yet. This feels like a good first step.”
