A superb live version of Owen Pallett’s ‘The CN Tower Belongs to the Dead’ segued into Feist’s ‘My Moon, My Man’ by a Meath band I hadn’t heard a note of until last week. If anything the darkness of the footage adds to the cover.
The Ambience Affair are playing Upstairs in Whelans on November 24th with support from Little Xs for Eyes and Groom. Could be interesting folks.

“The Ambience Affair formed as a duo just 4 months ago, singer/guitarist Jamie Clarke and drummer Marc Gallagher combine looped vocals/guitar riffs with driving rhythms to create songs that are captivating to witness.”
I interviewed these guys for analogue. They are getting good very quickly.
