Daithi feat. Sinead White
– Love On Top
A killer electronic pop collaboration from the Tribes EP.
I first heard ‘Love On Top’ at Daithí’s incendiary Body&Soul Electric Picnic set last year. At that time, Dublin singer-songwriter Sinead White was known for a pleasant debut album of bright songs.
Paired with Daithí’s electronic pop sensibilities though, White’s voice became a powerhouse on that day, in a dance music context. I’m delighted that the recorded version of that track is finally here.

Waffles
Waffles
A percussive dancefloor exciter.
Waffles is a label of unknown origin that likely has a Belgium connection. Played at Despacio by Soulwax might have encouraged such links too. This 12″ only release is the second (002) of edits of exotic-sounding tunes like Spanish tune El Turronero – Las ‘Penas (La caña)’. Side A is the real percussive roller as heard in this clip below. Expect this to get a Lumo airing on Feb 26th.
WAFFLES – Waffles 002 [WAFFLES]
The mysterious Waffles imprint returns for a second helping! This time with some delicious fruit on the label and some sublime edits on the wax! These are surefire party cuts destined for the dancefloor! j.mp/Waffles002
