The Mary Wallopers have been announced as the support act for Liam Gallagher’s Thomand Park show in Limerick this summer.
On Saturday, July 14, the Britpop legend will descend on the 25,600-strong outdoor venue as part of a tour to mark 30 years since the seminal Definitely Maybe, with the Dundalk Folk outfit opening up for the special show.
The Manchunian rocker will perform the “most important album of the 90s” in full for the first time, with bangers like ‘Up In The Sky’, ‘Supersonic’ and opener ‘Rock n Roll Star’ seeing the light again after decades.
We’re excited to announce we’ll be supporting the mighty Liam Gallagher this July in Limerick! Tickets are on sale now xoxo.

Fans young and old can expect a few rarities as well with Gallagher playing some b-sides from the album, while it is anyone’s guess what tunes the frontman will have on the setlist, some tracks like ‘Listen Up’ and ‘Sad Song’ could be on the cards.
For anyone headed to either of the two 3Arena gigs in June or the Boucher Playing Fields show in Belfast in August, the support act has not yet been announced. No Cork show was revealed for the tour, leaving some Leesiders disappointed.
Liam announced the Definitely Maybe Tour in October last year saying he was “bouncing around the house” to announce it.
I’m bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x
