Theophilus London reworks his This Charming Mixtape favourite for Green Label Sound, the free download singles label. Theophilus really impressed (again) at the Green Label Sound Party in the Brooklyn Bowl last month during CMJ, rapping, singing and throwing out cool moves. The track’s got lyrical depth too:
“I visited a town once with someone, and it was great and amazing–kids and dogs outside in the sun. ‘Humdrum Town’ is about coming back to the town without that person and having the opposite experience. It’s gloomy, it’s dark in a humdrum kind of way.”
