Listen to tracks from Thread Pulls’ album New Thoughts
The sound that Thread Pulls have crafted on their debut album New Thoughts is motorik, minimalistic and mantric. Built on a foundation of repetitious drum hits and bass notes, this basis allows Gavin Duffy and Peter Maybury to employ the use of ambient drones, seemingly free-form vocals, unconventional instrumentation and extra percussion. It’s a record you let seep into you. Sample three tracks from the record below.
Thread Pulls’ album launch party takes place this Friday in The Workman’s Club with support from Logikparty & DJ Monty (Roller/Sparkers). Tickets are €12.50. New Thoughts is released through Osaka Records.
