We’ve already had the 12-minute ‘Escape Velocity’ but the first single proper ‘Swoon’ arrived today. At just just three minutes, it’s an indication that Further (which they are calling an audio/visual album) may be an attempt from Tom and Ed to get away from their trademark sound ( a notion which ‘Escape Velocity’ did nothing to encourage). The visuals were produced by Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall aka Flat Nosed George. Further is out on June 11th in Ireland and 14th in the UK. ‘Swoon’ is out digitally May 9th.

took me ages to figure out what this was ripping off, but i take it that it must be sampling Orbital – Lush 3-1 that synth that comes in after a minute or so in lush
Like the track. I hear it, especially after 2 minutes in Lush, might as well rip off the best! I don’t mind.
