So, she’s got at least 3 rather different recordings of this song. Ranging from the slightly messier production on the album version to this super-clean, emotion-fest. I think this version is trying too hard to match the video for cheesiness. I really like the stripped-down demo kinda version that’s been floating around for yonks. It’s very basic, but feels much more natural.
I thought Twin Peaks too.
