Lord Huron is the nom de plume of Benji Schneider, a Los Angeles based musician from Michigan who put out two fantastic EPs of under the radar tropical harmony-heavy and hazy folk pop last year. The two EPs are called Into The Sun EP and Mighty EP. There are strains of the the same Afro melodies that inspired Vampire Weekend and there’s an ethereal tinge to Schneider’s vocals. That’s about all we have to go on at the moment but the tunes speak for themselves. More in 2011 please.
