Watch Le Boom talk about the importance of creativity

Le Boom were invited by Huawei to discuss the creativity behind their unique sound, and Aimie and Chris sat down and talked in detail about the importance of exploring the need to create.

Drawing from their own experiences, Le Boom’s advice for Irish people looking to start creating is, “Don’t worry about what other people think, just do it for yourself and become obsessed with it. Just work on whatever your creative talent is everyday.”

The video by Huawei, shot on the Huawei P20 Pro, aims to inspire and excite new creators in Ireland and is one of 3 videos of the Huawei Mobile #HuaweiCreators series.

Discussing why they create, Aimie says “It’s basically my reason to get up in the mornings. Everyday, that’s all I do, it’s my full time, basically writing music, playing music and I think without it, for me anyway, my life would be totally different without it.” For Christy, it’s inherent, “I’ve been creating since I was playing with lego, making tree houses..it’s just kind of all I know really and I just couldn’t imagine my days without it really.”

The other videos feature the photographer Cormac McMullan and street art collective Subset. Watch them below.
