Irish artists were among the guests on last week’s returning series of Later With Jools Holland.
Hozier was on twice to play two new songs from his forthcoming album Unreal Unearth – ‘Francesca’ and ‘Eat Your Young’, while Cavan singer-songwriter Lisa O’Neill was on to play ‘Silver Seed’, a single from her All Of This Is Chance album on Rough Trade. Lisa announced an Irish tour last week.
Other guests included Arlo Parks, Thee Sacred Souls and Venbee, live from Alexandra Palace Theatre in North London.
Other artists featuring this series include Alison Goldfrapp, Baba Ali, Dave Okumu & The 7 Generations, Eddie Chacon, Fatoumata Diawara, Gaz Coombes, Jessie Ware, Kara Jackson, Mahalia, Olivia Dean, Rodrigo y Gabriela , Sleaford Mods, The Jordan, The Lathums and The Waeve. Plus, Jools will welcome Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds for a special one-off exclusive show.
