This Friday, sees the Secousse Soundsystem come to Dublin for the first time. Club Secousse is the Radioclit’s club night which focuses on music from worldwide ghetto cultures. Expect South African house, Brazilian funk, Angolan Kudoru, Columbian Afro-cumbia, Lebanese Dabke, Shangaan and Congolese Soukous amongst others.
Taking to the stage on Friday in the Twisted Pepper is DJ Etienne Tron of Radioclit and DJ Mo-Laudi of The Very Best. Support comes from Dublin Tropical’s DJ Izem.

Secousse recently teamed up with Marina Gasolina (ex-Bonde Do Role) for a cover of this song from Brazilian dancer-singer-pornstar Gretchen. The song appeared on Red Hot tribute to the late 60’s Brazilian movement Tropicália.
