Adult Swim’s singles program gets to the Flying Lotus edition after tracks from Wye Oak, The Hives, The Field and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. ‘Between Friends’ features Earl Sweatshirt and a certain Captain Murphy who is named after a Sealab 2021 character and not the Wexford captain. The track is a chilled production with a switch in beats towards something closer to something that reminds me of a DOOM track. Either way, good stuff.
Fly Lo’s new album Until The Quiet Comes is out on September 28th in Ireland and features guests Thom Yorke, Laura Darlington, Niki Randa and Thundercat. ‘Between Friends’ does not feature.
