Hope is Noise @ Coughlan’s (9pm, €7)
Ahead of sixth full-length ‘Anchors on the Soul’, Cork alt-rock godfathers tear the guts out of the back room on Douglas Street. Support from Rory Francis O’Brien.

Arthur Itis @ The Poor Relation (9pm, €8)
Earth-bound denizen of the planet Lukon 5 arranges intergalactic frequency modulations into a collection audible on primitive audio cassette technology. Support from humans Saint Caoilian and Elaine Malone.

Jinx Lennon @ Fred Zeppelin’s (9pm, €8)
Punk-poet iconoclast heads upstairs to the red room on Parliament Street. Support from Wasps vs. Humans.

Taboo @ Dali (10pm, €10)
RnB, afrobeat, reggae and dancehall with Stevie G, Chedder and Grillz at the decks.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 1ST

Diffract @ PLUGD/The Roundy (7pm, €5)
Cork’s community club night returns to the Roundy, with Arbraz, Casualty, Endrift and Mikey B-Side holding it down. Techno, electro, breaks and related.

Stephanie Rainey @ Cyprus Avenue (7.30pm, €15)
Pop singer-songwriter heads to Cyprus Avenue as part of a national headlining tour.

Versive @ The Poor Relation (8pm, €5)
Dublin alt-rockers return to Leeside, with hefty supports from Selkies, Archaos and Atlas Zero.

Gruff Rhys @ Live at St. Luke’s (8pm, €25)
Super Furry Animal and solo singer-songwriter takes to the stage for an acoustic show.

NTFO @ Dali (10pm, €tbc)
Well-heeled deep house duo head to the venue on Carey’s Lane for their first ever Irish show.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 2ND

School Tour @ PLUGD/The Roundy (7.30pm, €tbc)
Ambient drone/pulse/reverb specialist sits in with improv guitarist Aonghus McEvoy and modular synth advocate Declan Synnott.
