15 current favourite tunes from Lumo Club DJs
Lumo Club, the monthly club night brought to you by Nialler9, Gavin Elsted and Simon Roche, returns this Saturday for its sixteenth edition and we intend on brightening up those January blues with a lot of tunes and a lot of dancing. Cheaper than door price tickets are on Eventbrite.
Our Lumo DJs’ top 5 tunes choices for this month are below but if you don’t know:
Lumo is a club for dancing to tunes of all-sorts. We play electronic, disco, pop, hip-hop, Italo and a bit of whatever we’re into in-between. Expect everything from Arthur Russell to Abba, LCD Soundsystem to La Bionda, Phil Collins to Caribou, Grimes to Giorgio Moroder, Kate Bush to Kraftwerk, Beastie Boys to Bruce Springsteen, Four Tet to Fleetwood Mac, Robyn to Ryan Paris, Steely Dan to Soulwax, ZZ Top to Zapp & Roger.
Every month, our three Lumo DJs Niall, Simon and Gav chalk up five tunes each that are top of our list to play at the club and here are this month’s selections in a Spotify playlist.
The next Lumo takes place this Saturday at Yamamori Tengu from 10pm til late. Eventbrite tickets.
