The Hot Sprockets @ Cyprus Avenue (8pm, €12)
Good-time psych-indie-soul melting pot returns to Cyprus Avenue.

Joey Gavin & Richie Delahunty @ The Roundy (9pm, €5)
This month’s instalment of An Club Cruinn leads off with former Thumper man Joey Gavin and trad prodigy Richie Delahunty upstairs in the Roundy.

JusMe @ Dali (10pm, free)
Cuttin’ Heads Collective co-founder and cutman supreme heads upstairs on Carey’s Lane for Dali’s free weekly bop.

FRIDAY JUNE 1ST

Laurie Shaw @ The Roundy (8.30pm, €6)
Wirral/Cork songwriter takes upstairs to the home of Plugd Records with The Swamp People in tow and Under a Plastic Cloud on the decks afterward.

The Ocelots @ Levis’ of Ballydehob (8.30pm, donations)
Brotherly duo returns to Levis’ after impressing at the venue’s Secret Song all-dayer in 2017. Support from Basciville.

Daithí @ Connolly’s of Leap (8.30pm, €15)
Fiddle prodigy debuts his new live project under the hammers ahead of a busy festival season.

Townlands Carnival Battle of the Bands @ J.C. Murphy’s, Macroom (9pm, free)
Dubliners MYTH and Ivan Nicolas are among the bands playing at the festival’s homecoming show. Winners head to the Crane Lane on the 9th to compete for a spot on the Rising Sons stage.

Drum and Bass @ Dali (10.30pm, €10)

Techno Fridays @ Cyprus Avenue (11pm, €5)
Jamie Behan and residents get back behind decks for techno on a Friday upstairs on Caroline St.

The Frank and Walters @ Cork Opera House (7.30pm, €25)
Leeside indie legends dive into their catalogue of pop gems with the help of the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra. Supported by Ye Vagabonds and Marlene Enright, also with string-assisted sets. Night one of Right Here Right Now festival.

Robyn Hitchcock @ Cyprus Avenue (8pm, €15)
Alt-rock progenitor, Soft Boys founder and veteran singer-songwriter stops upstairs on Caroline Street.

Spanner @ Fred Zeppelin’s (9.30, €5)

Wallis Bird @ Cork Opera House (7pm, €20)
Choice-nominated songwriter returns to Cork after playing the White Horse this past January, as part of Right Here, Right Now.

Soul Journey @ Live at St. Luke’s (7.30pm, €25)
