49th & Main release EP featuring KEHLI, Khakikid & Fynch
49th & Main are Kilkenny lads Patrick King and Ben O’Sullivan who just happened to have made a name for themselves with their dance and electronic productions, an impressive feat during a pandemic without access to dancefloors.
Their latest EP, is out today, and also features collaborations Irish artists we dig.
19-year-old KEHLI is an artist making sparkling pop music leaning into the mainstream.
Khakikid is another 19-year old, a rapper from Dublin.
Fynch is the Burner Records artist who is known for sporting an Ireland jersey and dropping truths in his rhymes.
All feature on the duo’s newest EP Good Luck, a summery collection of six tracks, with the SZA, Doja Cat-esque ‘Summer Lovin’ with Kehli, the title song features a laidback Mac Miller-esque rhythm that suits Fynch and an unnamed vocalist, ‘Alcoholics’ with Khakikid has an Anderson .Paak/Kaytranada feel while 49th & Main lean into the more singer-songwriter pop vibe they have shown recently on ‘Good Life’ and ‘I Want You’.
There’s also a house track called ‘Takeaway Pints’ on it fair play.

49th and Main are due to play Whelan’s in September pending you know what.
