Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme that gives children and young people access to high-quality, subsidised performance music education. Initiated by Music Network, Music Generation is co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Local Music Education Partnerships.
The organisation is now inviting professional musicians and artists to tender for a role to not only lead and develop a Community of Practice with musicians but to also create and lead new work for children and young people:
Invitation to Tender for Individual and/or Groups of Professional Musicians to:
(a) lead and develop distinct Communities of Practice with musicians that deliver Music Generation programmes;
and
(b) lead, develop and create new work for children and young people with musicians involved in Music Generation Communities of Practice.
