Hibernacle takes place at Orlagh House in Rathfarnham this July 4th to 6th this summer.
Conor O’Brien aka Villagers are the latest act announced for the weekender, which is set to feature Pillow Queens, Lisa Hannigan, Ye Vagabonds, Wallis Bird, Jape, Ailbhe Reddy, Gráinne Hunt, Sally Cinnamon, Áine Tyrrell and more.
The three-day boutique festival takes place 30 minutes from Dublin city at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains near Rathfarnham in the estate of Orlagh House.

Gather ’round the fireplace in Orlagh’s drawing room for intimate ballads and trad sessions featuring George Murphy & Players. Spontaneous, sing-alongs that quickly become festival highlights.
Main Hall DJs
Festival icon, DJ Sally Cinnamon spins indie, soul, disco and dance floor bangers in the immaculate indoor dancefloor of Orlagh House.
Secret Garden Sessions & Pop-Ups
Tucked away in the leafy corners of the estate, discover hidden mini-performances, with intimate busking sets and surprise appearances. Belfast-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Dani Larkin brings her haunting melodies and powerful storytelling to Hibernacle. Discover emerging artists like We’re Not Together and the raw, powerful songwriting of Eddie Winston, a soulful singer whose journey from addiction to artistry gives his lyrics emotional depth.
Wholesome Welcomes
When you arrive at Orlagh House, prepare to be greeted by Aoibhneas, a troupe of young local trad musicians, and if you think it can’t get any more charming, the Rathfarnham Ukulele Group (RUGs) pop up between mainstage changeovers. They’ll be joyfully strumming away and keeping the craic flowing while you queue for your next pint or plate of deliciousness.
Spoken Word & Whisht: A Quiet Gathering
Don’t miss a special reading from acclaimed poet Emmet O’Brien, plus Whisht: A Quiet Gathering, curated by Deirdre Creasey of Cnoc na mBan. Set in the stillness of Orlagh’s gardens, Whisht offers a gentle space to reflect and reset through soft movement, breathwork, and sensory calm – a peaceful pause amid the weekend’s buzz.
FOOD, TRAVEL & TICKETS
Food & Drink: Expect hand-picked, carefully curated food stalls and drinks vendors offering gourmet street food from The Right Catering Company to locally brewed pints, craft cocktails, excellent coffee and the awesome, local Kahuna Pops homemade icepops. Hassle-free queues that won’t kill the vibe.
Travel: Orlagh House is a mere 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre and easily accessible from Bray, Dundrum, and the M50. Optional return bus tickets are available from a city centre pick-up point when booking.

Full Weekend Pass: Includes entry to all events up until 10:30 pm. Then the late-night aftershows begin.
Aftershow Add-On: €20 per night for exclusive late-night events inside Orlagh House
Return Bus Transport: Optional add-on when booking.
The festival says you can also grab a 3-day ticket and share your wristband with a friend across different days.
