Morgana MacIntyre, co-founder of Saint Sister – returns with ‘Fix Your Heart For Free’.
‘Fix Your Heart For Free’ is the first song since last year’s electro-pop persistence anthem ‘I’m Not Going Anywhere’ from Morgana.
Inspired Mary O’Hara and The Roches, the song was made with Daithí in Clare in November 2024, with the chorus channeling those acts’ vocal folk style – on an alt-pop song about persistence, inner strength, heartbreak and self- healing – all very Morgana topics it must be said.
Watch the video directed by Greg Purcell.
Recent months have seen Morgana play once more with Gemma Doherty as Saint Sister and play Paris Fashion Week, the Opera House in Brazil, the heart of the Amazon, the Late Late Show, Other Voices and opening slots for CMAT across North America and Europe and Dermot Kennedy in Ireland.
Morgana plays a free lunchtime gig with The Theodora Byrne Ensemble this June and this Friday plays with Saint Sister at NCH’s Festival Of Voice along with Clarissa Connelly, Hatis Noit and Rachael Lavelle.

Morgana – Fix Your Heart For Free Lyrics
I got fed up with this feeling put your stuff into the bin
I tell everyone I’m healing now that’s my new thing
I’m still a little loser but I am improving
Thank god they’ve stopped asking how you’re doing
I stopped in Aspen to drink you away
A washed up old has been on cheap chardonnay
No one’s gonna fix your heart for free
Oh love isn’t that what you told me
No one’s gonna fix your heart for free
All love isn’t that what you told me
You said baby I won’t do your little dances anymore
The car is hot the air con broke you spilt the juice all on the floor
I got priced out of the city wish you knew that I was moving
Thank god they’ve stopped asking how you’re doing
I stopped in Aspen to drink you away
A washed up old has been with nothing to say
You spent your whole life on your knees did you get what you deserve
Said if I don’t stop saying please, I’ll get on everybody’s nerves
No one’s gonna fix your heart for free
Oh love isn’t that what you told me
No one’s gonna fix your heart for free
All love isn’t that what you told me
