Limerick band Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters are now known as simply Fox Jaw, who have been around quite a while making music that was normally quite gruff bluesy-tinged rock music. Their new single ‘Kerosene’ however, is up a level from what’s gone before, rather than grind out in a low register, the song’s dynamics go from a Pixies-esque psych-ballad to majestic full-band rock with a distinct Irish touch.
The single is out on February 28th and the video was directed by Shane Serrano of the band and Blind Boy Boatclub of The Rubberbandits is co-credited with the concept. Kevin Kiely Jnr. (actor who was in World War Z and The Dark Knight Rises impressive credential fans) and Richard Lynch feature. Fox Jaw’s 2014 album is called Ghost’s Parade and is coming soon.
