There’s something about a band that makes everyone swoon at their sound, particularly the girls I know who’ve heard this want to recreate it or make music like it. School of Seven Bells are such a band. So many melodies. So much warmth. In truth, this video is never going to match the atmosphere of the recording and a taxi ride just doesn’t cut it. I want starfish and magic and light and other such unnecessary objects flying in my eyeline. At the very least, Alejandra and Claudia Deheza are beautiful people. The band play here in Whelan’s on the 23rd of this month.

Thanks for this.
Nice track.
Yeah, I think the point of the video is to get as many close-up shots of the girl’s faces as possible.
And sure, what harm really?
Whelan’s on the 23rd, the day after the film festival. Perfect.
it’s a pleasant track, but tune is not quite strong enough i think
maybe requires a few listens
indeed it is better second time round
now for a third…
Album is a real grower – looking forward to the 23rd!
