It’s been four years since I last featured Cignol here but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been releasing or making music in that time of course. The daily deluge of music into my ears sometimes blocks time for those closer to home who shout less about their own productions.
Lately, a side-project, Dr. Nol exploring Italo-space jams and synth workouts was released. His latest, for UK label Seagrave, is the Tidal Sheer EP, a four-track collection of electronic productions.
‘Sys486’ is the standout for me, a percussive darkly-lit synth-lead track. The song is a free grab from XLR8R.
