Berlin composer Johannes Motschmann has an album Electric Fields out tomorrow on Neue Meister worldwide.
Joined by multipercussionist David Panzl and tonmeister Boris Bolles, Motschmann’s electro-acoustic brings classical and synthesizer electronics together on an album that is inspired by the city he lives in, the place where his work is also played by orchestras on a large-scale.
Motschmann inspired by Tangerine Dream and German forefathers has crafted a deft collection of shimmering neo-classical electronica.
‘Headland’ from the album, is reminscent of Kiasmos in its glacial vista made of electronics and orchestrals.
