Music Piracy debate tonight

Dk There was a bit of interest about this on Twitter so I thought I’d put the details here. Taking place tonight is the debate run by the Internet Society and the Alternative Music Society: “Current Anti-Piracy Campaigns are Unsustainable and Unethical”. It happens in the the Debating Chamber in the Graduates Memorial Building (GMB) in Trinity College at 7p.m. It’s free in.

There will be 4 speakers including a member of Chewing on Tinfoil whose album was released on the New-York based label, Quote Unquote Records, a donation-based record label which releases all its music for free giving the option to donate to the band.

There’s a Q+A and an open forum after.
