While relevant post-punk bands are few and far between in the current musical climate, British group Shame have proven themselves to be one of the most vital young voices in rock with the release of their debut album Songs Of Praise earlier this year. Their music is dense, with layered guitars providing that wall of sound feeling. Add to that a killer rhythm section and a clever ear for a chord progression and you have the raw ingredients for Shame’s visceral take on the modern punk sound.
Good news then for Shame fans – they play the Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday November 21st. Tickets €16 inclusive of booking fee, go on sale Friday at 9am.
