It’s been a fascinating road for Conor O’ Brien’s Villagers project. If you been following this blog since 2008 you’ll be familiar: stirring support slots, burgeoning word of mouth buzz, the Hollow Kind EP, full-band performances, a 7″ single, signing to Domino, playing Later with Jools Holland, impressing at SXSW and releasing the brilliant Becoming A Jackal which currently resides at the number one spot on the iTunes Irish chart. The video above is another reason to celebrate: a Yours Truly session from 6th Street at SXSW.
