White Lies because I missed them at Oxegen 09 and all my mates said they were amazing.
🙁
The Karman Line because they are my friends.
The Coronas — So I can gaze at the face of true, rancid blandness, and know that I am but human, and weak.
And so I watch you from afar….
So I can watch them from up close!!!!
Super Extra Bonus Party as they give me a super extra boner (party)
Super Extra Bonus Party because they never play cork and this is their only cork gig of the year.
Admit I haven’t a clue about most of the bands. So looking forward to liking someone I haven’t heard before, asking my very learned muso friend “who are they?”, and enjoying his sneer of derision “yeah you would like that”. Oh plus it’s my stag weekend 🙂
Super Blonds …for obvious reasons!!
White Lies – fell in love with them around Christmas time when I was feeling shit and haven’t gotten to see the live yet. I think I might cry!
ASIWYFA, wanna see them one last time before they TAKE OVER THE WORLD.
Super Extra Bonus Party & Miracle Bell because they are representin’ kildare & neither of them got to play Oxegen … booo!!!!!
White Lies because of all the bands I love that I’ve seen live, I’ve never had the chance to see them play their dark, gothic, moody pop yet. I keep hearing how great they are live and have to see them.
Adebisi Shank. Because I’ve only ever seen them at indoor shows and because I really want to hear their new stuff asap.
I really want to go so I can see Reverend & The Makers because they’re my favourite band and Jon McClure is a cute little man!
adebisi shank.. cause theyr irelands best live band and international dreamboat you just put up sounds brilliant!
The Shank. They are still the fore runners in the Irish independent music scene.
Adebisi SHank because they are the most insane live band in the UNIVERSE!!!
I wanna go see da Delorentos coz if I got a Free ticket theyre’d be no STOP-pin me :):):)
Adebisi Shank, Jape, Planet Parade, Ana Gog……
I know I was only supposed to choose one, but their is a ridiculous amount of extremely talented irish acts this year! Ana Gog are probably one of the most talented bands out there and any band who describe themselves as “well layered, like a wedding cake” definitely deserve to get a mention!
Their music is incredibly well balanced however, I hear they are a band best sampled live, yet somehow I never seem to catch their gigs. Hopefully, I’ll get to see them, with all these otrher amazing acts this weekend!
I would absolutely love to see And So I Watch You From Afar because they’re destined for great things and I want to see them before they become huge!
I would absolutely love to see the Chapters again, bcos they always put on an amazing performance and need to be recognised more for their talents!!!:D
Oh actually, have to agree with those above, Adebisi Shank!!! The new tune is unreal!!!tune of the year I reckon!;)
Setmaker, definitely Setmaker! I wanna support my friends and favourite local band! Lets hope me being broke won’t be a problem=)
SETMAKER…cant wait. Pink ladies out in force again…its gona be a good one…if i get to go 🙁
White Lies all the way…..im too broke to go at the moment though
I wanna see Planet Parade! They are friends of ours, and we’d loooove to see them in their element!
I would like to see Delorentos! Because they do not play many gigs in Cork and I would like to enjoy them with every1 at the festival!
I would like to see Delorentos! Because they do not play many gigs in Cork and I would like to enjoy them with every1 at the festival!
I would LOVE to see White Lies, as i fancy the pants off the lead singer!! I am crazy about their music, and seeing them play ‘Death’ live will most surely be the highlight of my summer!! 🙂
I want to see The Coronas because people tell me I look like Danny so I want to see if its true.
I want to see Gatchaiocht, because my boyfriend is in the band, and i’d love to see him in all his glory!
Yes Cadets! I would love to go see O Emperor and their new clothes; Funeral Suits! And So I Watch You From Afar or will I see God is an Astronaut on Alabama 3. Do we need Codes for this Super Extra Bonus Party?! No more White Lies now and please just let me enjoy Something Deeper at the Cellar Door with a few Coronas!
