A milli.. A milli

I went to see Erykah Badu last night. She was unbelievably good. Absolutely stellar show with a packed Vicar St. in effect. More on State later. The gig’s preface and prologue involved the airing of this savage tune from… (OK… I qualified my own judgement already so shut up)… Lil Wayne – A Milli. The bass hits, the sample. Where have I heard this before? Why, Unknown Pleasures# 1 of course. So unknown the author forgot that he uploaded a remix of the tune already. It sounded VITAL in the Vicar St. speakers tonight.

  1. I totally agree, was a great show. That Lil Wayne tune sounded sick through those speakers. I had heard it before through my computer speakers and was pretty unimpressed but after hearing it last night I have had a serious change of heart. Will you be dropping it in the Sth William?

  2. Damn what a shame, I will have to hunt down a soundsystem capable of taking that base.
will the crowd at least appreciate a bit of James Pants? no doubt someone will play some Jape- D.I.M remix of floating if possible

  3. I think I’ll give it a go on my electronic telephonic mobilic communications device. It has the sort of bass that would make your head shake, compared to the shitty distortion that is iPod bass.

  4. Gav!

How dare you acccuse me of such things. This is DELLiterious! I would never promote a brand on the sly no matter. I would rather DELLete my blog than let advertising encroach on the content.

    Ahem…Buy Dell!

  5. fuck lil wayne. that fuckhead’s team of assholes tried to kill my site for an innocent remix of ‘lollipop’. a weird voice and the same wack production as everyone else doesn’t classify as ground breaking. sorry. great blog, though.
