A Sliver Of Light Festival lineup announced for Doolin in January
Last month, Homebeat and Hotel Doolin announced dates for A Sliver Of Light, a January music & arts weekender festival in Doolin in Clare.
The lineup for the “three days of cutting edge contemporary live music & Djs with a series of curated talks and experiences” has now been announced.
Playing live are Waterford dreamy pop band Ana Palindrone, Cork producer Bantum playing a live set, experimental fiddle player Caoimhín Ó’ Raghallaigh, big nu soul jazz band Cooks But We’re Chefs, bluegrass Americana duo DUG, Achill Island folk artist Graham Sweeeny, harpist Méabh McKenna, composer Neil O’Connor aka Ordnance Survey, Dublin rock band Really Good Time, accordion player Seamas Hyland, Ambient soundscape composer Simon O’Reilly and Kerry based Irish language rapper Súil Amháin.
On the DJ front, Andrew Weatherall’s A Love From Outer Space cohort Sean Johnston is on the list, as is Ali Morris, January Winters,My Name Is John, Sunday Spinners, The Big Romance Soundsystem, and Homebeat DJs.
