Abner Browns Barbershop gigs returns this month with State Lights & Ellyd
Abner Browns Barbershop, to those in the know, is much more than a place to get a short back & sides.
The shop is a bit of a Dublin institution, run by manager & promoter Dave Judge.
Gigs have been put on the cosy setting of the barbers for a few years, though recently there’s been a bit of hiatus.
However, Abner Browns announced this week that the gigs would be returning.
They’re kicking things back off with a gig on October 23rd, featuring indie rock group State Lights and singer-songwriter Ellyd.
A limited number of tickets, at €5+, will be available through Eventbrite on Monday. It’s worth noting that all the money generated from ticket sales goes to the sound engineers and acts performing – the shop doesn’t make profit on them.
