Fairview Park in Dublin 3 is hosting another summer concert series this June, with seven shows across two weeks. Here’s all the essential info from MCD.

  • Wednesday June 17th – David Gray, The Divine Comedy (Gates 6:30pm, Show 7pm)
  • Wednesday June 24th – Two Door Cinema Club, Florence Road (Gates 7pm, Show 8pm)
  • Thursday June 25th – Dropkick Murphys, Death Before Dishonor, The Oppressed, An Slua (Gates 6pm, Show 6:30pm)
  • Saturday June 27th – Ethel Cain, Special Guest (Gates 7pm, Show 8pm)
  • Sunday June 28th – Paul Weller, Esmeralda Road (Gates 7pm, Show 8pm)

What can I bring in with me?

  • Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/ stools permitted on site. Please do not bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.
  • Fairview Park is a standing only venue. All gigs will take place on grass under canvas and will take place rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoat/ponchos and suncream but remember no umbrellas.
  • There will be one entry route at the Annesley Bridge end of Fairview Park. • Show your ticket at the ticket barrier outside the venue for inspection.
  • Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue. • Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on site. Any items left at entrances/ in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
    ⚫ Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrella, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted.

Fairview Park is situated in a residential area, we would appeal to all concert goers to respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally. Please respect the neighbours.

Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.

  • Obey the stewards and Gardai and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.
  • There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.
  • Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply with these T&Cs, as agreed by customer and per Ticketmaster Purchase Policy.
  • Don’t rush to exit after the concerts.

Transport – How to get there?

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance, allowing at least an extra 2 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic delays are inevitable, you are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport and private coach services.

What else do I need to know?

No early queuing allowed – early patrons will be turned away from restricted areas. Arrive no earlier than necessary and plan to be inside the venue 30 minutes before the show starts.

This is a standing-only venue under canvas on grass. Check the forecast and dress accordingly – boots, layers, raincoat, no umbrellas.

No re-admissions. If you leave, there is no re-entry.

Fairview Park is a residential area – please respect the local community, no littering, no anti-social behaviour, no illegal parking.


What can I bring in?

No camping or collapsible chairs. No bags larger than A4. No glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, e-scooters or e-bikes, disposable vapes, flares, professional cameras or audio recording equipment. No signs or flags bigger than A3, no flag poles.

Transport – how to get there?

Plan and book return travel in advance, allowing at least three extra hours. Walk, cycle or use public transport where possible.

By DART: Alight at Clontarf Road DART Station. See irishrail.ie.

By Bus: From Eden Quay, Abbey Street Lower and Talbot Street. See dublinbus.ie. Note: bus stops 519 and 616 will be closed from 10pm-11pm on concert days.

There is no public parking at this event. Do not park illegally or in residential areas.

Where is the box office?

One box office at the concert entrance – see site map. Download your tickets to your phone before the day. Screenshots will not work as barcodes are live and updating.


What’s the age policy?

Under-16s must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian over 25, who takes full responsibility throughout the event. Unaccompanied under-16s will be refused entry without refund. No under-5s recommended. All attendees must have a ticket.


Accessibility

Accessible accommodation requests at mcd.ie/outdoor-accessibility-requests. All forms close five days before the event date. Accessible ticketholders will be contacted directly regarding parking options. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.
