The Dublin duo return with a headline show on Thursday November 5th, marking a decade since their acclaimed debut album.
All Tvvins are playing a headline show at The Academy, Dublin on Thursday November 5th, performing debut album IIVV in full to mark ten years since its release, with support to be announced.
All Tvvins formed in 2013 as a side project between Conor Adams and Lar Kaye, pairing the singer/bassist from The Cast of Cheers with the guitarist from Adebisi Shank, two bands that had already built cult followings on the strength of their spiky math-pop take on alternative rock. Joined by drummer Lewis Hedigan, the trio’s 2016 debut landed at number three on the Nialler9 albums of that year:
“IIVV is what a modern rock record should be: full of imagination, drawing from the members’ pasts while adding textures of the ’80s that sounds anew when applied with better overall production: treated vocals, big drums, synth-pop and stadium rock.
All Tvvins’ debut is a resourceful release, filled to the brim with a deftly executed take on modern stadium rock and synth pop, that has the prospect to take hold of the ears of many more. All Tvvins are already on their way to being a great band, it just didn’t happen overnight.”
