AVA announces London club and conference with FKA Twigs, Jarvis Cocker, Kojaque, Annie Mac and more
AVA London has been announced for three nights of music, culture and visual art, from March 20th to 22nd 2025.
Taking place at The British Library, The Standard,, HERE AT Outernet, EartH Hackney and The Cross, AVA London features day time talks and night-time club performances, with 70+ Speakers lined up along with three nights of distinct club performances.

NIGHT TIME PROGRAMME
Thursday 20.03- Erika de Casier, Kojaque, Mechatok Live – Earth Hackney
Thursday kicks off in Hackney at Earth with quality live acts and DJs – including Danish singer and producer Erika de Casier. Known for her delicate vocals and charming productions, De Casier’s performances are intimate yet powerful. London-based Irish rapper Kojaque will also join the bill for a typically theatrical and charismatic show, Mechatok will also perform live.
Friday 21.03 – Ryoji Ikeda Live, Marcel Dettmann Live, EMA – Outernet / HERE
AVA’s second night heads to Outernet will be a night of experimental soundscapes and techno power. Ryoji Ikeda, a master of minimalist sound design will explore the boundaries of sound and perception. Marcel Dettmann, one of techno’s most influential figures, will bring his signature dark and intense beats to the floor. He will make the UK debut of his new My Own Shadow Live, Dettmann is undoubtedly the don when it comes to techno. The night will also feature talent on the rise – EMA.
Saturday 22.03 – X CLUB., LSDXOXO, Juicy Romance + Marion Hawkes – Outernet / HERE
For the final night, HERE at Outernet hosts another night of boundary-defying electronic music. AVA is excited to host LSDXOXO brings hyper-pop, club, and experimental electronics while London-based Australian duo X CLUB. present their unique blend 90s techno influences with forward facing contemporary club sounds, with support from the powerhouse Juicy Romance, and Northern Irish act Marion Hawkes also joins the bill.

AVA’s 8th edition marks a strong new era as they explore challenges, opportunities and culture around music and the arts, all taking place at the prestigious British Library, a space aligned with learning and culture for centuries. AVA London’s daytime programme is thoughtfully curated with a balance of impactful keynotes, interactive workshops, cultural deep dives and discussion. AVA’s Day & Night – Access Everything passes also offer access to the extended AVA Pro programme – an elevated and explorative networking experience for professionals and curious minds involved with the industry. For those looking to amplify their AVA experience, AVA PRO gives extended networking, sharing and learning opportunities, such as the AVA Forum for Festivals, Clubs and Artist Managers which will be launched as industry-focused sessions in early 2025. The Access Everything ticket will also provide access to a dynamic range of club shows featuring exclusive live performances, debuts and AV shows.
Amidst the global sensation of her Eusexua album campaign, FKA twigs will join the conference for a special live edition of the Resident Advisor Exchange podcast at the British Library. In this rare public appearance, the acclaimed artist will delve into her career, creative process, and inspirations, offering an intimate perspective from one of the most compelling artists of our time.
Another special addition – Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker will take to the stage to deliver a special climate-themed lecture titled “Biophobia” in association with EarthPercent. Two iconic names from the dance music space – Annie Mac & Jayda G will sit down for a fireside chat about music & motherhood, the challenges in the industry and going against expectations. Activist and model Munroe Bergdorf will join the proceedings, hosting a session titled Requeering Dancefloors centred around nightlife and queer culture. Bergdorf is an activist and global voice for under-represented communities, fighting for trans rights, safer spaces, equality and justice. Her work has seen her recognised as one of the UK’s most prominent activists.
Master British mixing engineer Tom Elmhirst will join the programme to present a special mixing masterclass, where he will break down the nuts and bolts of his process in mixing some of the most important music of the 21st century with artists like Adele, David Bowie, Jamie xx, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, U2, Lady Gaga, Lil Yachty & many more.
Italian producer Lorenzo Senni will join the programme to present a new version of his production and process-focused masterclass “The Architecture of Intensity”. The Warp Records-affiliated artist is well-known for deconstructing the epic build-ups and ecstatic synthesiser arpeggios of ’90s trance and hard techno along with the Hardcore Punk influences that often feature in his work Lorenzo uses repetition and isolation as key tactics in his production. This workshop will be a deep dive into the creative process.
The Parisian-based creative duo NONOTAK, who focus on mixed-media light and sound installations and performances will present a visual masterclass guiding us through their ethereal, immersive dreamlike environments live at The British Library.
Cultural platform Trippin will present a special panel focussed on Curating Contemporary Culture. Known for their carefully curated insights into culture across the globe, their team will delve into questions around authenticity, hype, community and more.
Chal Ravens & Tom Lea the mastermind journalists behind No Tags Podcast which focusses on “Conversations on underground music and pop culture will join to present a live session of their esteemed podcast which has quickly become one of the best music podcasts around, in just one year.
These tightly-curated masterclasses are designed to help demystify the music industry alongside other lead sessions from partners like TikTok who will join the event to present a keynote conversation with a special guest speaker, experience ticketing platform Easol who will present an industry-focussed keynote panel titled: “Festival Utopia: The Future of Festivals”, pointblank Music School who will present a masterclass for emerging artists and music-makers, Spitfire LABS+ will present a dynamic workshop and artist-led performance as part of the conference, while PRS for Music who will present a session titled “Demystifying Music Publishing.” The Association For Electronic Music (AFEM) will return to present hot-topic sessions on International Nightlife and mental health & well-being in music.
Designed to educate, amplify and champion the creative community around music culture and new media – AVA London pioneers an explorative approach to nurturing the next generation of talent in the music and arts industry. Tackling topics from social impact to sustainability, LGBTQIA culture to the current state of creativity – AVA will host important, informed and educated conversations that will explore the realities, successes, challenges, and potential futures around what music and creativity means in 2025. AVA will also create an environment for music makers, culture enthusiasts and industry professionals to meet and exchange ideas through AVA+, and AVA Pro programming.
AVA London’s 2025 event will open the conversation into the current state of play, asking the public and the next generation of the industry to participate in the discourse around the future of music and culture. Industry will play a part in the programme through the AVA Forum, AVA+ and AVA PRO strands of the conference. Delegate ticket holders will have the opportunity to attend dedicated, limited-capacity sessions for festivals, nightclubs, artist managers and more via the AVA Forum. AVA’s Full Weekend Conference ticket is the best way to access the industry side of AVA London, with access to AVA PRO features – including the delegate database, networking app and more to be revealed in the coming months.
The AVA Forum will expand in 2025 to host industry experts from the areas of management, festivals and clubs, looking at the current landscape and how to improve, collaborate and build healthy and sustainable ecosystems in each area. The AVA Forum will provide space for healthy discussion, networking and a chance to spend time with like-minded people in the industry. AVA+ is the exhibition hub area, where AVA hosts music partners and players from music, tech, record labels, b2b e-commerce platforms and more directly to AVA’s audience.
AVA also widens the invitation to those who are curious about the intersection of music and culture, as well as young people, students, and the wider creative world – all curious to hear and learn at AVA London.
