B.A.R.E In the Woods – a new one day music festival near Portarlington
B.A.R.E In the Woods is a new small music festival happening next month outside Portarlington.
It’s a one-day BYOB camping festival taking place on June 14th in Garrylinch, Co. Laois that came about after a late-night conversation at Knockanstockan last year. B.A.R.E stands for Bringing Another Righteous Event. The festival site, on the boundary of Garryhinch Woods on the Laois/Offaly border is owned by the festival organisers.
The lineup, promised to be filled with emerging local, national and international acts, so far includes The Eskies, Phantom, Liza Flume, Corner Boy, New Secret Weapon, Elastic Sleep, Sounds Of System Breakdown, Moscow Metro, The Vincent(s) and more but headliners won’t be announced until the week of the festival. Tickets are €20 early bird rising to €30 each.
The festival are open to submissions.
