Billie Eilish debuts ‘Your Power’ from forthcoming second album Happier Than Ever
Billie Eilish’s new single ‘Your Power’ has dropped. It’s the third song from her forthcoming album Happier Than Ever (an ironic title given the crying artwork below) out July 30th.
The album is the followup to the smash When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and is likely to be one of the biggest, most impactful albums of the year.
‘Your Power’ is a soft acoustic track produced by Finneas with a video directed by Bille in Simi Valley California, featuring an 80 pound anaconda, wrapping itself around Eilish (I’M GOING TO SAY IT’S A METAPHOR FOR FAME GUYS).
Happier Than Ever features 16 tracks and again, features no outside songwriters or producers other than brother Finneas. Previous tracks we’ve heard include ‘my future’ and ‘Therefore I Am’.
Happier Than Ever is released on Darkroom/Interscope/Polydor Records will also be available as Deluxe and Super Deluxe box-sets / exclusive color-way vinyl, cassette, photo-book and CD versions are available from https://shopuk.billieeilish.com/.

Your Power lyrics
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn’t choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
But having it’s so strange
She said you were a hero, you played the part
But you ruined her in a year, don’t act like it was hard
And you swear you didn’t know (Didn’t know)
No wonder why you didn’t ask
She was sleeping in your clothes (In your clothes)
But now she’s got to get to class
How dare you?
And how could you?
Will you only feel bad when they find out?
If you could take it all back, would you?
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn’t choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
But having it’s so strange
I thought that I was special, you made me feel
Like it was my fault you were the devil, lost your appeal
Does it keep you in control? (In control)
For you to keep her in a cage?
And you swear you didn’t know (Didn’t know)
You said you thought she was your age
How dare you?
And how could you?
Will you only feel bad if it turns out, that they kill your contract?
Would you?
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn’t choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
But power isn’t pain
Hey, before you go...
