Bjork: She so crazy..

Cover of her new album Volta

Bjork

With input from Timbaland, Konono no.1, Mark Bell (LFO), Antony Hegarty (of Antony & the Johnsons) , Brian Chippendale (Drummer -Lightning Bolt), Chris Corsano and more, it’s sure to be Bjork’s most commercial album of the decade thus far. It looks like she’s putting a greater effort into the percussion side of things than on Medulla or Vespertine.

The album is out on May 7, proceeded by a digital download single “Earth Intruders” on April 9th – a short clip of which you can hear here.

  1. jejejeje!…
sorry…In colombia the fools day is in december, so yesterday and today i fall into the trap.
Really i think in the supposedly Bjork´s face when she change the name of the new album.
    Sorry again.

  2. ”It looks like she’s putting a great(er) effort into the percussion side of things than on Medulla or Vespertine”

Medulla had loads of rhythm and many unusual percussive styles.

  3. Ben, I guess I mean that the album seems like it will be more focused on moving your feet than working your mind a la Medulla or Vespertine..
