Black Lips – ‘Modern Art’
Mark Ronson is on production duties for Black Lips‘ upcoming sixth album Arabia Mountain (Lockett Pundt of Deerhunter does two tracks). So I expect this elusive band to make a lot more sense to a lot more people soon. Case in point: the two minute pop thrill of ‘Modern Art’. As Aoife Right Click Radio pointed out to me today, it sounds ripe for an ad soundtrack. Super catchy.
